Blisters are caused by friction when your shoes are poorly fitted and rubbing up against your skin. Going barefoot when wearing shoes promotes a poorly fitted shoe which will then most likely cause some of that friction. Blisters hurt like heck and can really put a cramp in your step.

You don’t want to be that person who needs to hide when taking their shoes off because the smell is so unpleasant. Wearing no socks promotes sweat to hang around longer than we’d like since we don’t have socks to absorb any of it. It’s the bacteria in our sweat that causes the unpleasant odor in our shoes. Plus, our feet are two of the sweatiest parts of our body.

Do you always get really sweaty feet or always have cold toes? Socks can act as a control for both temperature and moisture. This can help minimize sweat and breeding of bacteria which leaves you with fresh happy and dry feet.
